Frequently asked questions

Why shrink large photos?

Phone photos can be 10 MB each. Capping the longest side at 2200 px keeps the PDF small with no visible loss at normal viewing sizes.

Which image formats work?

JPG, PNG and WebP, plus most other formats your browser can open.

Where do my files go?

Most tools work entirely inside your browser tab, so the PDF is processed on your device and not uploaded to us. The AI tools are the exception: with your own key, the text of your PDF is sent to the AI provider you choose, and they say so before you start.

Do I need an account, and is there a limit?

No account, no watermark and no daily limit set by the site. Very large files are limited only by your deviceโ€™s memory.
